| Professor Kreiner is a renowned expert for the cultural, social, and intellectual history of the early Middle Ages. She has made notable scientific contributions to the fields of human-animal-history and cognitive history. In her current research, Professor Kreiner explores the interface between cognitive science and history and the ways that early medieval cognitive tools, habits, and ethics can change our understanding of the present. |
